Gameplay
Hundar is a setting of the creation of its primary developer. It is intended to be its own standalone world which may have some elements or rules used within other campaigns and worlds from systems to cities to characters.
Hundar is intended to be a setting focusing on high fantasy and high magic. Special items are ripe within the world for plunder and taking while some weirdness or seriousness is handled along the way. There are ample villains or minor characters who can show up within the world and help or hinder, or even perhaps throw the campaign for a loop.
Overall, Hundar is a world where adventurers are defined by their ambition above all else; anyone can become strong. But, most powerful people are obsessed with something in Hundar.
The world of Hundar is built with modularity in mind, things can be silly yet taken seriously or simply goofy for the sake of it. Things as presented within the lore may seem amusing at first, like the largest monopoly being cheese themed. But that hasn't stopped its stone cold entrepreneur from toppling several governments across the world using coin alone.
The most important aspect of Hundar is its freedom of choice for those who play in the world; Begin life as a commoner becoming an adventurer after a session 0. Play as pirates on their first raid. Strike it out on your own as a group with an airship rather than travel with caravans. Be a high ranking adventurer running your own kingdom with armies and airships at your disposal in a way that doesn't obstruct the game. Run a shop that sells talking tables. Scheme and plot to usurp the foundations of the world. Travel between town to town searching for one particular thief that snatched your belt buckle.
Hundar is a setting initially made for D&D5e 2014 and is not always the perfect fit for a setting that is not fully compatible with all campaigns set outside of Hundar
